Alright, so I'm back. :'D The first few months of this year have been nicely busy: I got an internship at a game project at the Oulu Game Lab (under the Oulu University of Applied Sciences / Oamk), where I work with 2D-concept design and try to get into 3D-modeling and texturing. In addition to that on my free time I'm doing another project, so unfortunately I haven't had much time to draw at home! This should change soon enough and I'll be able to post more frequently.
The picture above has nothing to do with the game we are working on, but I'll hopefully be able to tell more about it in the future. :) However, I've been doing some clothing designs there and using textures from the aforementioned site, so I tried to texture an old sketch that I had laying around in my files. I should just draw and practice a lot, lot more still. :'D
Hoo! just luin sun kommentin tuolla oman blogin puolella tähän liittyen ja oli heti pakko tulla etsimään lisätietoa : D mahtavaa! Game Lab on se juttu missä itekin oon nytten tehny hommia sen COMAn parissa ja tää täkäläinen Game Lab taitaa olla ihan suoraan Oulun mallin pohjalta muutenkin :D varmasti hieno juttu, meille kävi joku sieltä Oulusta puhumassakin teidän kuvioista ja kaikki kuulosti kyllä niin mahtavilta :) toivottavasti kaikki etenee hyvin!
ReplyDeleteMeillä ehti Game Lab jo loppua mutta jatketaan sen pelin parissa vielä. Tuli ehkä lähdettyä vähän liian isolla lapiolla liikkelle :D
Hee, meilläkin tuo itse Game Lab loppuu tässä kesäkuussa, mutta jatketaan kans sen pelin kanssa, kun paljon on kyllä siinäkin vielä tekemistä! :'D (kahden vuoden projektista ovat puhuneet! :'D) Ja meilläkin kävi sieltä teiltä nyt talvella joku tutustumasta (en muista nimeä! :) ) ja mainitsin hälle, että olen tätä Mighty Jyväskylän kehityskaarta seurannut! :D
